My five year old enjoyed this, but it was painful to read aloud. While the simplicity of the story is appealing to young readers, I found it repetitive and unnecessarily dragged out. The worst of it was the stereotype of the mother as a controlling nag. Unfortunately for me, my daughter knows that this is part of a series...

A fun tale about a boy taking care of a pet hamster and the adventures they go on together! Easy to read, good read-along and there are pictures inside this entertaining novel!

this book is very funny and teaches u how 2 b responsible.
