I was given this book for an honest review and my honest thoughts, so here goes...

I have to say that Ms. Cristal is a hot writer. She rocked my world with No Fantasy Required and now makes my dreams a little more sweeter with Being Arianna. She knows how to get under the mask of what you are thinking and put them down on the pages for us to fan ourselves with. Being Arianna is no exception to that rule. Ms. Cristal takes on one woman's journey to live the private life she loves to lead.... To le

Being Ariana is a sexy story that is impossible to put down until you have reached the end and found your satisfaction. Ellie is the respectable business woman by day and sexy vixen by night that star in many women’s fantasies. The mere thought of Tom makes me want to melt into a pleasure puddle. The sexual build-up between the characters is intoxicating and will having you craving release for Ellie.

The Explicit warning is really unnecessa

This is an erotic short, and a good example. While the point of view is nearly all internal and comes from Elle / Ariana, the scenes and confusion is well defined and described. This is not a particularly original tale: high-powered by day woman has a secret life as a disguised performer in a sex club, but the story is very well formed and the character of Elle is well thought through.

With several hotter scenes and the interior dialogue that is nearly wholly sexual from Elle, the story is quite
Being Ariana by Cristal Ryder

This story is the first installment of a series so it does not end but begins here. I was first drawn to this book because of the premise of having an alter ego. You know the business type at work but at play time you wear a mask and let your hair down so to speak. This is Ellie during the day, all business but at play time she is Ariana all mysterious and headed to the club.

This book is all about Ellie/Ariana. All her preparations and her feelings are described rea
low 2s -- barely there characterization means (1) hero and heroine come off as completely unsatisfying Mary Sues, and (2) this novella is more fodder for fantasy than actual literature.

and lest you think i'm damning all erotica because i prefer romance, i'll say that cara mckenna does an amazing job writing fully realized characters with credible psychologies whose plots are much more about the slap and tickle than happily ever after. it can be done, but this ain't it.
