Migliora dopo le prime 200 pagine. Molti esempi incentrati sugli USA e le leggi USA ma eventualmente sono facili da saltare. Alcune informazioni sono datate (per esempio 20 anni fa i container non erano ancora altrettanto sviluppati), ma le tendenze generali non troppo. I casi studio e articoli su esperienze vere sono spesso interessanti. Certi concetti tendono a essere vacua fuffa, altre sezioni invece sono molto dettagliate e può forse essere utile consultarle per sicurezza quando si svolgono specifiche operazioni (come stabilire 20 criteri per scegliere un fornitore di logistica, o pianificare un magazzino).

Buku ini jadi semacam alkitab ketika melewati masa-masa skripsi saya yang kebetulan mengenai layout gudang DHL jadi mau tidak mau logistik adalah myawa dari skripsi saya.
Pengetahuan awal logistik? 0 besar.
Saya harus langsung terjun ke gudang untuk belajar dari awal, kemudian didorong perasaan 'tidak mau terlihat bodoh' akhirnya saya mulai membaca buku sejenis ini.
Awalnya yang terlintas dalam pemikiran saya "bicara apa buku ini" tapi istilah cinta bisa muncul seiring dengan kebiasaan dan kebutuhan itu benar.
Jadilah saya sekarang lulusan manajemen jurusan operasional *mata kuliahnya sejenis teknik industri tapi cuma dasaran aja* yang cinta banget sama topik logistik, supply chain management, dan warehouse.

A textbook that does offer many concepts into logistics management and supply chain management. All though at times it reads like some mad scientist's theory not yet proven, if you can grasp the concept it can prove to be invaluable in your career.
