The best thing about this book is that it includes interaction and encourages the kids to make motions along with the child in the book. That did work fairly well, and made the book more interesting than it otherwise would have been. I do not like the illustrations very much, and I think I might have liked the book a lot better if I had not had to look at a child in a saggy diaper or underwear on every page.

I would recommend this book for close to Kindergarten level children. It has some rhyming and other concepts that could be introduced at a young age. I thought the book was cute and something I would consider for my classroom.

This is a perfect book for Toddler Time. I used it for my last book today and even though they had been getting restless, everyone settled down. 12/11

Since it went over so well at my last branch, I used this again at my new branch for my wind program. The older children laughed out loud. 3/14/12

Used this again for my clothing lap time. 11/21/12

The older children left early, so I was left with two younger so I read this, for my wind PJ Story Time. 3/13?

Used for lap time again. 12/17/13

Used again for wind PJ Story Time. The 1st grader got into the rhymes. 3/31/14

Used in Lap Time and was a hit again. 3/17/14

Used for PJ and Lap Wind Story Times again. (used as the last book to try and keep attentions - somewhat successful - the toddlers start anticipating the shakers... plus it was so nice out...) 3/8/16

Some of my go to books just seem to fall flat at my new branch.

This was recommended by June Krell who has made extensive use of this book. I can see why. It is very interactive and allows the kids to move around and participate in the story via make believe. The hero is a toddler/baby gleefully giving away all his clothes. Happy cheerful pictures as well as a happy cheerful text. Great variety of uses in storytime themes!

a great interactive book for toddlers about a boys laundry getting borrowed by all sorts of animals. Does it fit the animals size and personality? What will the boy do without his clothes. Like the interactive movements for kids to read along with.

This book is rhyming text on one side, and a toddler illustrating suggested movements to accompany the story on the other. It would be nice to use one-on-one or in a very young storytime where actions and reading any story matter more than the exact content.
