I Love You When...

Rate this book
I love you when you're sick and when you're feeling better. And when I'm far away, I say "I love you" in a letter! I Love You When . . . is a poignant, but fun, rhyming text expressing a parent's unconditional love for a child.

This is my all time favorite children's book. It is just so sweet and perfect and says everything I want to say to my children every day of their lives. I've read it so many times to my four kids that I have bought 6 copies because it always falls apart from over use!

I used to read this book with my parents when I was a kid and I loved it because I could relate to all the emotions. I would struggle reading this book to a class because the "I love you" part of it could be taken inappropriately by some parents but I think that the different emotions listed in this book could be a good reference when talking about feelings in the classroom.

This is my oldest son's favorite book. We read it every night. He cannot go to sleep until I read this book to him. It makes me think of wedding vows, but more like Mommy vows I vow to him to Love him forever...
