Hard to describe this one: a book of survival, with a whodunnit thrown in, or a whodunnit, with a bit of survival thrown in?

I don't tend to download free books as you never know what you're going to get but this was one of the better ones.

The ending wrapped up a bit too neatly and too quickly for my liking however, given the journey that was made in the book but it wasn't too bad.

I did note that around 96%, there were a couple of typos where two of the characters' names got swapped round but it

Voyage of the Elysian is the first in a promised series of books under the umbrella name of "Astronomicon", and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to book two to see where Paul Vincent is going to take us.

Voyage of the Elysian feels like an old-fashioned sci-fi book, I'd compare to Arthur C. Clarke in the sense that the dangers are less fantastical beings and more about real world plausible dangers but then transferred to an alien world.

This book was not reviewed by an editor. There were a lot of typos and at the end at a crucial passage, names were mixed. The story was good however, I thought the dialogue between the characters was not good.
