I very rarely leave reviews or ratings for books I cannot finish but I was so disappointed in this book that I had to do so.

This book had so much potential-a unique story, well-developed characters and it was written well. The problem? It is was overrun by so much religious preaching that it was impossible for me to finish. This really should be categorized as "Christian Fiction" so those of us looking for true "Contemporary Fiction" don't feel duped when we spend the money on a book. Also,

Holy Shit! By the end of this story I was trying to figure out where to find a hot bad-ass mob hit man, place a price on my own head and then let him chase me until we fall hopelessly in love.

Leese Winslett is in hiding. After the mysterious suicide of her grandfather, her mother becomes paranoid that someone is after them and their wealth. Sending her and her sister off to live with old friends, Leese is now a typical middle-class teenager. She's kept the secrets and hidden her past, but when

I can see how some people might enjoy this book but I did not.

To start with Annalisa was too perfect with the exception being her massive ego. Second, I have nothing against religion, if thats your thing, but I thought it was a bit extreme when Annalisa pretty much forces Evan to go to church. In general, the undertones of the book were a little too religious pushy for my taste. Should have been more clear about it being a Christian romance. Now, I could have gotten past these issues BUT...

OMG... I was entirely captivated by Untouchable... I mean like I threw together the quickest meal possible for my kids just so I could get back to reading this book. Lindsay created a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know what will happen next to Leese. While I will admit it is a tad predictable I can't take away the fact that I couldn't put it down... I'm anxious to start Unforgivable and quite frankly I'm struggling with how strong the urge is to dive right into ...more

Untouchable had suspense, action, romance and lots of twists!! At times I really couldn't put it down and I've got to say even though I know I'm not supposed to like Micah..I LOVED him, his character and the redemption!! In regard to Annalisa, she had guts and character but the whole religious vibe drove me nuts. Personally for me it was too much and ruined the book for me.

Sorry (not sorry), but I have NO RESPECT for an author who romanticizes disrespect and brutality against women and still uses God's will to justify it. Please use your freedom of speech to write about subjects that dignify men and women. Books are media, books have social influences. If you believe in this kind of trash, ok. Everyone has their opinion, but spreading it is completely ridiculous. Like I said other times, some people should try harder to be better people and not just a waste of ...more

First PLEASE whoever see this review GO GET UNTOUCHABLE NOW! You won't regret it. This book is FANTABULOUS and BEMAZING. This book right from the beginning wrapped me in its clutches didn't let go until I was at the very last word. I was laughing and crying all along. I am sooooo glad I read this. I needed to read something this STUPENDOUS. And here I am still reeling from this book. The songs comes at the right
Okay, first of all they should have listed this book as Religious Romance because that is what it is. I have no problem with authors preaching their beliefs in their work but I would like to be forewarned that it is the case before I make a decision.
Besides the annoying religious factor, this book was simply put really bad. So bad that I couldn't finish it. First of all, the insta love was one of the most ridiculous ones I have seen. The heroine is in hiding and it doesn't take long for her to
I LOVED THIS BOOK. When I read the reviews alot of people said that it was very 'religious' and 'church-based' but I really wanna tell everyone that NO IT's NOTHING LIKE THAT. I'm not a Christian myself and I didn't find it all so much religious.
This book is an AMAZING AMAZING COMPLETELY AMAZING mob romance. It has a great story to it. I love the hero and how he slowly and slowly falls for the heroine and her innocence. Its slow and sweet. It was a bit of a shock the way the heroine didn't react

I was so torn about rating this book. On one hand, I loved it so much. On the other, there were parts about it that really tested my nerves and patience and I just can't ignore that.

While I am perfectly fine with clean reads, because duh, what's not to like if a book is good, I can't say that I am perfectly fine with religion being shoved down my throat, but I thought that it wasn't really that preachy, especially in the first half of the book.

What I did think is that rather than having Leese be
****Re-read on 5/10/2013 and its even better the second time round! LOVE THIS BOOK!!****

This book has a crazy plot but it definitely worked! This is a favorite for sure, i normally don't read books that involve the mob but i'm so happy i took a chance. What really interested me more was that it was set in school because that's the type of books i enjoy reading, i'm surprised it progressed in to more and had loads of

Just a reminder:

This is not a mindset I can 'get with' nor would I ever want to.

I feel as though I've been getting a highly frustrating and disturbing look through an extremely cracked and dirty window as of late into how women sometimes justify brutality, misogyny, sexual violence, victimization, inequality, infidelity and abuse from men.

This is another instance of WTF that I just don't have time for.

As Roksana states in her review:

In book 2 "he brutally rapes her and beats her" and she

Untouchable wasn’t anything I expected, but entertaining regardless. There’s plenty of action, twist and turns to keep you occupied

Annalisa is a very rich girl. She’s so rich that she moved to a different state to live with her aunt and uncle for her own safety. She has always been cautious and her friends are limited, until one day, new student Evan, changes her quite life. Evan is very interested in Annalisa and he does everything he can to get her to notice him, but cagy

Untouchable is an original, entertaining story. Young adults will have a hard putting this book down because it's addicting and exciting. This story is filled with romance and suspense. Overall, Untouchable is a fabulous novel.

I really, really liked this book, but it's not for everyone. I think readers will either love or hate this book. Most readers will love it, but there are definitely a few who won't like it.

My only "issue" with this novel - and the thing that will derail some readers - is

WOW!! Loved this book! It's so romantic and I absolutely ADORED Annalisa and Evan! They're just perfect together!

The synopsis for this book is pretty crap because it's the kind of story that moves along. Annalisa and Evan quickly slip into antagonistic flirting. It's pretty good banter and when things start getting serious, it gets

Untouchable by Lindsay Delagair is the most unique and different type of romance novel that I have ever read. It is full of romance, crime, and suspense. Untouchable is a great novel that left me wanting for more. I would say it’s a older Young Adult novel that has a touch of romance for older adults as well.

The storyline is about 17 year-old Annalisa who comes from a wealthy family but has to move away to live with family friends of fear of

A friend of mine really loved this one and wanted me to read it. So, I bought it and was looking forward to reading it, because she felt so passionate about it. So, what did I think? I liked it. It certainly kept me on my toes. Leese was a little hard for me to connect with, but I loved "Evan". I had a bit of trouble with the religious undertones, but I've been told that in the rest of the series, it becomes less of an issue, because Leese's views change a bit. I really liked the supporting ...more

DNF. I really did not like this book. Finishing it would be torture. Let me start off by saying that I don't mind cliches and predictable stories, sometimes I love them. But this book just wasn't my cup of tea. Way too predictable and cheesy. I wasn't a fan of the MC. She's not realistic enough, she's too perfect aside from her huge ego. "Look at me I'm so perfect. I'm super rich and drive a Porsche, well I used to until mommy went nuts and moved me to a new town, ugh. I also have a black belt, ...more
