1. This book was about a young girl named Wendy and a Monkey. Wendy asked the monkey to leave her Treehouse but the Monkey did not listen to her, so Wendy decided to plan on how to get rid of the monkey. She made multiple plans but only one was successful, she was able to get rid of the money from her Treehouse but then he ended up in her bedroom. 2. I think the illustrator worked a lot with lines, paint, and light tones of colors. The images she painted was related to the text. For example, the author wrote “Wendy turned purple with anger.” the illustrator drew the character in a light tone purple. The illustrator used a lot of emphasis in his images as well. 3. I think this story draws the reader's attention because there is a lot going on in the images. There is a state of repetition in the story and the mood of the story is very dramatic. I think this book brings the reader to understand an imagination of a child and their capabilities to explore and create.
