Very detailed information about the battles between the British, American, and various Indian Tribes in the Midwest from about 1811 to 1816. I have been interested in the effects of the Doctrine of Discovery in North America and in how a family farm came to be deeded to a veteran in the War of 1812. This book detailed how little the US government cared about the area and how uncoordinated the military in the area was. Recommended for serious history students.
