Features these cool, subtly textured pages that display hidden dinosaurs for kids to find. The front cover says that there are over 90 of them, but we didn't attempt to count them. Readers might be frustrated with the grandfather's obtuseness and inability to realize that the dinosaurs he's seeking are all around him and his grandson, but perhaps the sense of superiority is exciting for kids.

Very creative, silly grandpa needs his glasses adjusted! Its a wheres waldo but wheres dinosaurs instead, with some in plan site others well hidden within the books pages.

My niece enjoyed finding all the hidden dinosaurs. The embossing made it easy to feel out even if they weren’t very clear. I’d have liked something like a key identifying what they were.

George and grandpa go on an adventure to a mysterious island that is supposed to still have dinosaurs. No matter how hard Grandpa looks he can't spot any living dinosaurs. George keeps pointing things out but Grandpa just doesn't see it. Finally they go home disappointed.

What a fun book and so creative! The story is fun but it is really the pages kids are going to pour over. There are dinosaurs hidden throughout the book (some obvious and some not so obvious) and it is fun to find them all. You will laugh with George when Grandpa declares there are no dinosaurs!

This was a book about a grandfather and a grandson going on a voyage to look for dinosaurs. The grandfather wants proof to see if they are real. When they arrive on a mysterious island. They have a bunch of proof that they are real, and if they had turned around just once, they would have seen them. But they never did. This was suck a cute book and I would read this to first through fifth grade. It is interesting because dinos used to exist and it would be cool to see one today and children would be very interested to see them.

This book is great for boys or girls who love dinosaurs. The book is big, brightly colored and has texture added to the pages. I love how the grandfather is in search of Dinosaurs and all the hints and clues are there. Can he find them or will you find them before he leaves the island. This book was simple yet had complex vocabulary for the child side of the book. I like how grandfather is similar to a scientist in this book exploring for answers.

Lovely embossed pages and endless searching fun for the little ones. I wasn't a fan of Gradfather though, he was definitely a "can't see the forest for the trees" kind of guy. At first it seemed clever, then it got a little annoying. My son even asked me to stop reading and just wanted to thumb through looking for the "hidden" dinos in the illustrations.

Excellent book to encourage searching within the details of the illustrations for the well hidden dinosaurs. Love the textured pages.

Also an excellent entry into discussing the grandfather's inability to see what's right under his nose! How our beliefs can limit us to see only that which we believe, or don't believe is possible.

May 2016 - Ben loved spotting the dinosaurs (although he often missed some of the (to me) more obvious ones. The dinosaurs incorporated into the landscape add an extra level of challenge. The text is almost unnecessary and doesn't add a lot, but it's just the thing for kids who love look-and-find stories and dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs hide throughout the pages of this tale and elude Grandfather as he searches to find signs proving their existence. Funny text with pictures that support the story and add to it by challenging reader to find the dinos Grandfather can't.

What a fun book to share with your (or give to) kiddos! Over 90 dinosaurs are hidden among the beautiful illustrations. You will most likely have better luck at finding them than the two explorers in the book.

Creatively illustrated book with young George traveling with his Grandpa to a mysterious island in search of dinosaurs. There are hidden dinosaurs on each page. Some cleverly blended into the background. Fun story for kids.

I liked this book... as far as it went. I thought it could have been better if the dinosaurs were more camouflaged and if each two-page spread featured one variety.
