This book instantly engages readers as they try to guess which animal is under each flap. They are given a close-up of the eye, and under the flap is a full photograph and information about the animal. The photographs are stunningly detailed and close-up!

This book just keeps kids guessing! I read this with a group of 1 and 2 year olds and they love it. I think its a fun way to help children learn about animals and their characteristics. It shows up close pictures of a variety of animals, and then by lifting up the flap one could reveal the entire animal. Super fun way for little ones to learn!

This book was pretty neat. Even I learned some new animal facts! And the kids seem to love it. They kept passing the book around to lift the flaps to look at the animals. 4/5 stars.

This is a great informational text that instantly hooks you with its intriguing cover. Each page has a different animal's eye. When you lift the flap, you learn so much about that animal's eyes. Although this is a difficult text, kids of all age enjoy it. This is one of those text that will really get kids excited about informational texts! This book is recommended for higher level readers because it is a difficult text with Tier 3 vocabulary.

This book has a photograph on page flap, of a big eye. Can you guess what it is?
Underneath, is a photograph of the animal along with fact about their eyes.

Would be a fun game, or fun writing prompt.
Maybe this is a writing older students could prepare for younger students.

Extremely good flap book. The eyes are NOT obvious as to whom they belong to, then you guess what kind of animal it is. Some are a little creepy. Lots to learn about each animal, too, under the flap.
