A classic. The drawings can be pretty hokey, but its significance in the fly-fishing canon is important.

Well written overview with considerable detail adequate to apply the thoughts of the author on how to approach those trout who always seem to rush your bait offering but consistently refuse to bite. Should increase the likelihood of catching that trout of your dreams. Spends conventional wisdom.

In my opinion the best book every written on trout fishing.
