This is an excellent little book by Samuel Logan Brengle (1860 – 1936) a Commissioner in The Salvation Army and a key voice in proclaiming Holiness.

This little book is in many respects a manual for the Christian life. It has a number of different chapters on a variety of subjects such as; the need for a personal experience of God, obedience, prayer, maintaining zeal, spiritual leadership, time management, relaxation and rest, finance, children’s ministry and looking after Christ’s sheep. It is an excellent book and I would highly recommend it.
