I usually let Alissa decide if we'll finish reading a book or not. When she said she'd had enough halfway through, I insisted we finish. I wanted to know how it ended. I'm glad I did. We were reminded that in this world, the small ones need the big ones and vice versa.

Matthew Wheelock use the stones from his field that he plowed to build a wall around his New England farm. The farm, and the wall was passed down through several generations, and considered a monument left behind for others to see.
