One of the later Biggles novels set in a period after the war when Biggles and his chums are working as airborne police officers. Millionaire's son Carlo Salvatore has been kidnapped and the trail leads to Scotland. The situation is complicated by the fact that the boy has gone willingly with his kidnapper and does not realize his danger and also by a rival gang who are also on the trail.

Not the best Biggles book but still a readable action thriller for kids.
