"Contemporary" monologues from the '70s means a lot of mourning dead husbands or criticizing alive husbands or wishing for husbands.

I bought this years ago hoping to find a good audition monologue. I found it very uninspiring. Perhaps because none of the monologues are written by women? Not one. Re-read. Not worth keeping.
