I picked up this anthology while visiting the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art in Santa Fe several months ago, as a way to get to know more poets' work. I was mainly drawn (at least in buying the book) to the Hispanic and Native American voices because of how they relate to my own experience. Still, it was interesting to see how the landscape and history permeated the work of even those not native to the area. Like with most anthologies, the extent to which I liked the poems varied.

A good and solid collection of poetry. The regional poetry of New Mexico is represented well in this book.
