I've really enjoyed all the books written under Elizabeth Stevens but for some reason when this author writes under E.J Knox her writing style becomes really clique and cringe.

The main character was awful and the dialect between the characters was like a low budget porn. So bad.
2 stars because I finished it, mostly by skimming.

This is the first book in this series which I enjoyed reading and can't wait to read the second book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. I found this book to be well written where the characters not only pull you into their world but heat it up as well. A dark, enemies to lovers story that is fast paced, full of action and just plain hard to put down. i enjoyed watching the characters growth as well as the steamy chemistry that had me coming back for more. An engaging story that is easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed reading this engaging story. You do not want to miss this one for sure. I highly recommend this book.

This story grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. It is an intriguing story filled with heated twists and turns that are mind blowing. It is a descriptively well written story that had me connecting with the characters and I can't wait for the next book.
