Together they make the daring and unconventional decision to walk away from their earthly possessions, consuming careers, goal oriented lives, unfulfilling relationships, and beloved loved ones and strap on a backpack and set off to explore the world for 2 years. Halfway through their ensuing adventures, they part ways. One summons the will to stay the course and finds the gateway to personal transformation and the other returns home and discovers the gateway to falling in love. What a great read! Traci's honest descriptions of the highs and lows of traveling and living out of a backpack for almost 2 years carries the reader right along with her. Her openly sharing her inner journey of self-discovery makes the book even more powerful and crosses genre from a simple travel story to an active kinesthetic approach to self help!

I am so fortunate as to have purchased this book directly from Traci's hands and will keep my personally inscribed copy in my book collection to share with any adventurous souls that find themselves spending the night on my couch. Thank you Traci for being such a courageous role model!

I loved the total honesty of these two women's stories. Yes, it was a mind-blowing adventure filled with wonderful people, majestic sights andfriendships around the world but it was also filled with being conned, getting sick, and needing alone time. :) Awesome read! Wanderlust!!!!
