Having read and thoroughly enjoyed both Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy and straight up Contemporary Romance from Scott, I was more than willing to take a chance on his mystery/suspense, especially since it had been way too long since I enjoyed a good murder mystery.

Amazing murder-mystery read! The twists and turns along the way thoroughly will put you on edge and bend your mind in this who-dun-it suspenseful novel. I enjoyed the characters, true to life and likeable or hateful, depending on whom you are talking about. I personally loved the main character Robert Foster, a man who was a master at solving crimes but was shamefully forced to retire from the police force.
