I found this book to be painful to read. Firstly a 22 year old gets hired to move across the country to manage a high end jewelry shop. Then...she goes on ONE DATE with the owner (who's in the mafia) and seriously considers his marriage proposal. Because that's totally believable.

Luckily, there's a woman that she barely converses with to fall in love with. The more I read it, the less I liked it.

I've never read anything by the author before but I couldn't suspend disbelief enough to enjoy this book even a little bit.

I thought the plot arcs were unbelievable and I didn't find a single character likeable.

Oh my goodness!
What level of infantile writing is this(sorry Burns)? This was just ridiculous in many ways...i will not bother myself listing all the absurdities.
I am surprised that this was so bad...i happen to have read a Burns novel before and if it were this bad i certainly wouldn't have bothered picking another...
