I got this book on loan from our local library. The only reason I picked this title was because it has Abby Cadabby in this book and my daughter's name is Abbi. I thought she would really love this book as it has her name in it and we all know little kids love books that have their name in the story.
With Abby's Pink Party we start off with her feeling a bit sad as it is a special day and no one has remembered. But wait with help from Grover our furry blue friend he helps her feel a little bit better by taking her to cool places while their friends plan something special for her.
I love how the pictures are very bright and pop out to you.
The only thing is there are a lot of words on each page so if your young child does not sit for very long to listen you may find yourself flipping the pages. A didn't mind at all she was happy to see that Abby was getting a surprise!

Board book about Abby's birthday. She feels that no one has remembered her birthday.
This book has a happy ending. Just the other day I had a 1st grader feeling down about her birthday. Not sure I'd recommend this book though, as there was no surprise party for her!
Cute book though.
