Some nice pictures. Was a bit surprised that a lot of them were from Siwa Oasis as it is known for its very specific vibe. Thought the introduction text was very annyoing as it tries to place egyptian interior style and architecture in the world of mystery and exotics..a typical Western connotation for the Middle East

I found this book really interesting!
Actually, I've always been super interested in Egypt and having a book about the the style/decoration/design it's perfect. This is a book you go through, maybe, in the first day, as I did. But I decided to take another look and show to my mother as well.
This is a book I'm really happy about having at home. On top of that, the book makes you want to travel and visit all the places photographed.
Such a marvelous book...

This was a beautiful little book filled with gorgeous photographs of Egyptian architecture, exteriors, and interiors. There is plenty of inspiration here for decorating my home and garden with the charming details and exotic flavours of the middle east..."luxurious accessories, hand-woven carpets and painted walls, gold-threaded fabrics and soft cushions, filigree carvings and mosaics of coloured glass."
