Three Book Bundle includes Cupid's Enchantment Cupid's Revenge Cupid's Favor
Book 1: Cupid's Enchantment Contrary to popular belief, Cupid is not a cute little cherub. And he'll take revenge on any who say differently. Just ask Ilar, Commander of the Lycaon guard...
Lady Rhiannon's beauty is distracting suitors from her older sister and ruining her chances at marriage, so her father has her locked her away in a tower. Believing she is going crazy from the isolation, Rhiannon hears a frightful voice. The next thing she knows, she's waken up in a strange forest pursued by mythical wolf men. And, worst of all, their leader is taking her home with him.
Ilar is irritated to discover an enchanted female--a human, their ancient hunters--disrupting his Lycan Guards. One sniff of this mortal's enchantment and the men go insane, trying to kill each for her hand. Only in making her his lover can the spell be broken. Ilar has no choice but to claim the female for his own. But who knows what will happen when Cupid's Enchantment is broken.
Book 2: Cupid's Revenge Cupid's livid. It's bad enough he made two people fall in love, but now thanks to King Larus, the whole Immortal Realm knows about it. There's only one thing a troll can do. Get Revenge.
Lady Mina and her sister, Sophia, are impoverished, starving and their castle is crumbling around their feet. Their father is dead, the servants are gone and it's the dead of winter. Could things really get much worse?
After Cupid caused a great disruption amongst his lycans by bringing a human to their world, Larus has had to meet with the Council of Elders. He's made sure it will never happen again. Or so he thought. Hearing two women scream-one whose enchanted to be madly in love with him and one who wants nothing more than to claw his eyes out-he's quickly learning not to underestimate a troll bent on revenge.
Book 3: Cupid's Favor 'Beware of trolls bearing favors'
When Lord Malak saves him from a sandpit, Cupid is honor bound to settle the lifedebt or risk being called upon later--even if the lycan noble insists he doesn't want any reward for the deed. Simply breeding the man's goats isn't enough to repay such a price. No, for this he needs something more. Knowing the perfect gift to be revenge, Cupid delivers the one thing that seems to aggravate Lord Malak the most--Lady Sophia.
After being kidnapped and drugged by the horrid troll, Cupid, Lady Sophia just wants to go home--to a place where magic doesn't exist and there's no chance of being eaten by a dragon. But most of all, she wants to be rid of her escort, Lord Malak. The charming lycan swore to protect her and see her safely home, but it seems fate and a little troll have other plans.

I received a copy of the trilogy for an honest review. Cupid was an ugly, dirty, nasty troll who just hated beautiful people or people who were not hideous as he and the other trolls were they and all magical creatures including the shifters and the vampires live in the immortal realm since the commander of the Lycans Lord Ilar made fun of him one night when he was drunk Cupid decided to repay him by going to the mortal realm and finding the ugliest female he could find to enchant so that all the Lycans would go mad for her when they saw her they would be willing to kill to have her that female happen to be Lady Rhiannon of Weilshire her father had her locked in the tower because her older sister wasn't as pretty as she to get her married first her father kept Rhiannon out of the way Cupid thought the sister was magnificent a mole on her chin with 3 hairs sticking out and her long nose so he went to the tower and kidnapped Rhiannon. Story 2. The Lady Mina and Lady Sophia of Aucester were starving and living in the burned out castle that was once their home Cupid of Course was still mad that King Larus had reported him to the Elders so he decided to enchant the king he kidnapped the sisters and brought them to the forest and the king was there taking a rest in his shifted form and he heard the females screaming and fussing just before that he felt something stick him he jumped up and ran to see what the commotion was and Cupid missed him with the second dart he threw he was upset once again but king Larus had come upon the sisters and he saw Mina first but Sophia saw him first and fell head over heels in love. He knew that Mina was special and he wanted to be with her but her sister was not about to let that happen it was a big mess because the King and Mina wanted to be together they had to cross the land of a vampire Devlin and he knew that the King had made Mina his and Devlin wanted Sophia and he told the King that he would taste her for one night and there would be no trouble the King agreed not that he had a choice. Story 3. Lord Malak came to take the sisters back through the portal because since the spell had been broken and Sophia was back to her old self she was totally upset that she didn't have anybody to love because both the men she thought she was in love with was not in love with her and she was being selfish about everything and mean to everybody she knew her sister loved the King and she could see the King was upset too when she saw Lord Malak she realized that she was feeling something she thought she felt with the other two men but in a way different but she was to scared to realize that her feelings for Malak were different but Lord Malak couldn't stop thinking about her since they met he decided that he would take her home the long way she was determined to go home as soon as possible and she told him that she wanted to ride to the portal and that just really upset Malak and convinced him that she wasn't interested in him at all so he took her to the portal and she met Merrelyn the wizard and she went through the portal with out even looking back. This might have been the end of the story but Cupid is not done yet. A really good story. Recommend.
Cupid is not who we think he is. He is not a cute little cherub, who wants to help people fall in love. He is a troll...a troll out for revenge. He is furious with Ilar for kicking him out of the castle. His revenge is Lady Rhiannon. Her beauty is well known at home and she is kept locked away to prevent her from stopping her sister's marriages. When cupid sees her...he finds her hideous and bewitches her so every unmated lycan will crave her. I love this quick read...I could not stop laughing and tears were coming out of my eyes. I loved the instant chemistry between Rhiannon and Ilar even though they both thought it was the enchantment.
We met cupid in the original story. He has helped Rhiannon and Ilar fall in love...not only does that make him mad but the King of the Lycans...King Larus lets everyone in their realm know about it. He is forbidden to bring an enchanted woman back. However, nobody said anything about bringing over unenchanted ones. He finds 2 sisters...each as "hideous" as the next...at least according to cupid. Lady Mina and Lady Sophia are starving and their castle is crumbling around there feet. Their father and anyone who knows them is dead....killed by their King. This time Cupid enchants Kind Larus but it didn't go according to plan and he only enchants one of the sisters in to falling for him. Again I could not stop laughing. Sibling rivalry, mis-communication and typical alpha male...afraid to tell the woman he loves he is a king..makes it a page turner.
Lady Mina just wants to go home. She has had her heart broken twice. Once by a vampire and the next by her sister's husband. She knows she didn't really love them but cannot help her broken heart. Malak saved Cupid's life and now Cupid is in his debt. Cupid does not want to be in anyone's debt and knows the best way to go about settling that debt is to help Malak get revenge on the one person he "loathes"...Lady Sophia. Throughout most of the book it is a battle of the wills. We see them fall in love but Sophia leaves anyways. As soon as she is home she instantly regrets her decision. Low and behold in comes Cupid to save the day. He brings Sophia back but waits for the Moon to turn Red. Once the moon is red no one can pass through the portals. Now he thinks he has his ultimate favor for Malak and brings Sophia to him for Revenge. I loved this book as much as the first two. It is an amazing series that plays well with one another.
Cupid is NOT a cute little cherub, and that Ilar of the Lycan guard will soon regret his words! kidnapping the ugliest human he can find, Cupid scents her with Lycan pheromones and dumps her where she can be found. cue many Lycans fighting over Rhiannon, and Ilar has to step in to stop them killing each other, or worse, Rhiannon. however, Cupid view of ugly is not Ilar's and you can imagine what happens.
the second and third tale run much along the same lines, although Cupid mixes it up a bit after being banned from bringing enchanted humans through the portal, he enchants the lycan King instead to get around this.
3 engaging tales, with humour from Cupid, who is actually a ugly troll, with warts and all, who constantly spies on his revenge plans, but has to leave as he cant bear to look at the ugly humans! some sex, but not enough to tip over to my over 18 shelf. a little violence, i mean, what a Lycan to do, when you come across the little troll who causes so much trouble! plot lines are nothing too taxing on the brain, a great read for a lazy afternoon, or in my case, a quiet evening at the dayjob!
i had already bought 2 other sets from this author, before reading this one, and hope i enjoy them as much. certainly worth the 77p i paid for them.
I LOVED THIS SERIES!!! Michelle Pillow is one of my favorite authors and this is yet another example why. There are so many hilarious parts in these books that I went way past the snorting all the way to crying I was laughing so hard!! Michelle is one of those rare authors that takes you on the same journey that her characters follow – you live, breathe, see, feel and experience it all with them (and what an experience that is with those Hot Lycan Shifters! *wink wink*) , making this way more than “just a book to read”. In fact I would often be wondering if these were my experiences, but then I look over beside me, and it is my Sheltie sleeping with me, not a Lycan! LOL These books follow the vengeful little troll aka Cupid as he exacts his revenge on members of the Lycaon Community by bringing *gasp* Humans/Mortals into their realm. Follow along with Ilar as he tries to protect Lady Rhiannon from Cupid’s curse, and with King Larus & Lord Malak as they try to help the 2 human noble women Mina & Sophia get back to the Mortal Realm. I can honestly say that I have NEVER laughed and cried so much in ONE book!!!! I would also like to add that I have never read a Michelle Pillow book that has not been fantastic and these are not any different!
Cupid is not the sweet chubby creature we are used to. In this series he is very different. His view of the immortal and mortal worlds are somewhat backward from most views.
We see three couples under his spells and influence, he doesn't win in the end, but the ride is a funny one and women strong the men big enough to fall hard.
The final book and cupid, a little cleaner but still just as naughty, now has a life-debt to Malak, who saved him from a sand pit. The little troll has learned his lesson and doesn't plan to love- enchant Sophia this time. Instead he has other plans. The stubborn miss is returned from her world once again—this time so Malak can take out his revenge.
Cupid, cupid, cupid. You never learn and the men and women you plan to bring down...well lets see how it works out this time.
For once sexy Malak doesn't have every woman falling for him—what's he going to do about that? This one is another laugh on cupid and we get to revisit his other unsuccessful victims.
Enjoy this third and final part of cupid's early days.
Three books in one, all with a running theme: a dirty stinky Troll. Not just any Troll but Cupid himself.
Cupid who hates being teased about being a sweet faced cherub, as he one accidentally eons ago shot a human with a love dart instead of goat. Cupid who loves warts, boils, moles and being smelly. He is not the main character in the book but he made me laugh the most.
After being teased by the Lycans for his matching he decides to get even and take his revenge. However his Revenge plots fail and he ends up matching up Lycan Lords and sweet fair human maidens. Maidens that Cupid has brought across from the mortal world to the immortal one through a magick portal. Bad cupid.
This is a set of three books all based in the same land. For me, the first book was by far the best but I still really enjoyed the other two. There was a bit of copying and pasting going on but nothing serious enough to stop me reading, and it was only one or two times anyway.
These are stories full of humour, sexy males and a troll who counts beauty by the number of hairs growing out of a mole on a chin!
Great series. Reading them one right after the other was great. The characters are well written and you laugh & cry right along with them. Michelle Pillow did a great job describing Cupid and his actions. She made him funny & disgusting at the same time. A really great read.
I was given this trilogy by the author for an honest review in my own words. I was not compensated in any way.
Ewe a troll as Cupid!! Go figure! But it works! This is such a new concept! But Michelle pulled it out of the hat, ear, whatever orifice the troll used to gross me out! LOL Funny!
I liked the novels quite a bit, but there are certain things, like descriptions, that repeat repeat word for word in each one, and that annoyed me just enough to get this rating. Otherwise it would have been a solid 4 stars.
Loved this trilogy, maybe it was because I enjoyed the twist on Cupid not being a cute little cherub, but I'm sure the half dressed hunky Lycan didn't hurt it either! These stories had just the right touch of humor and wasn't overly done on the romance side of things.
I loved this trilogy. The author is an amazing story teller and I adored all of the characters. Each book was perfect in length and substance. Great reads, great price and I look forward to reading more of this author in the future.
