If God went to B school

Rate this book
In 2007, Hari Parmeshwar- poet, engineer and romantic- cracks the FMS,CAT,SAT,XAT,MAT,FAT….. The B-School is supposed to be his ticket to the big leagues- to the high paying MNC job- where he can provide his love, Meenakshi, with all the comforts in the world. Little does he realize that God has other plans.
At FMS, Hari meets Matar- a surd who becomes his best friend, Scooby-a self proclaimed ladies’ man and Bastard- a mysterious genius. Their friendship deepens over drunken parties/ nights on town, copied assignments, Scooby’s everlasting attempts at getting laid, presentations in which they end up making public fools of themselves, intra class rivalries & tiffs, society applications, intense pre-exam mugging & bumper summer placements. The future looks bright.
But then the world begins to end. By an act of financial terrorism, every big sounding financial name that recruited from premier B-schools either dies or gets badly wounded as the great economic recession of 2008 hits.
Will Hari get a high paying job? Will Scooby get laid? Who is Bastard? How will Hari’s love story end? Will Hari follow his dream , in the end?
Taking you beyond media reports, rhetoric, ‘If God went to B-School’ is a dark, brutally honest & deeply sarcastic tale of how the wheels turn at premier league B-Schools and how the 2008 recession impacted them.

Peppy, funny and had me laughing out loud. Especially loved the character of Bastard. The drunken night chapter is hilarious.
