I had some hopes--it's written by a local author and was recommended at the library. But, nope. If I'm skipping paragraphs by chapter 3, there's no point slogging on.

Well, that was exciting! And there's already a sequal. I read this on my phone using Kobo, and I really enjoyed the experience.
