I read the blurb on this one and decided that it sounded like a good read. Unfortunately this was not to be an enjoyable reading experience for me. Rarely, do I start reading a book that just is not a good fit for me, but this is one of them. I say not a good fit for me because all of us have differing taste and this might be a great story to someone else.

As I began reading, I thought that it was interesting as it introduced me to the concept of a hidden civilization in the Antarctic made up of

"You're implying that you feel more for me than you really do. Well, I'm not here for what if's! I'm here to take forever!" - Declan

Declan is one of Pandora's Elite - a hunting force that is responsible of finding the evils Pandora once upon a time unleashed upon the world. He's also a cryoman from Atlantis who has only one woman meant for him in the world - and this much-needed vacation may be his last chance to find her and convince her to be his forever. Well, he does find her, alright. But

This was one bad read. If the Romance Writer's of America had a contest for most obnoxious heroine Ellie would probably be the winner--so angry, self-centered, and rude that it is impossible to believe any guy, even one who's not human, would be masochistic enough to persist in pursuit of this hateful psychotic witch. At least Kevin had an excuse--he was possessed; I hear that tends to warp your judgment, and even he had the sense to dump her when he was sane. If Ellie was his soul mate, it ...more

I received this book free from StoryCartel in exchange for a fair and honest review.

First off, I did enjoy this book but somehow, it just didn't grab me. I don't know why. The whole cryoman of Atlantis bit was well thought about but there are large holes in the description. There isn't much mentioned about the females - are there cryowomen? The only females that make it into the story are humans that have been found by their soul mate. The "Gods of Olympus" part was a quick mention of Zeus and

This book set up the series wonderfully. I love the warriors going out into the world to capture everything Pandora let out. However, I feel like we just sort of scratched the surface of this world. I know there is more to it, and I'll definitely be checking out the other books in the series to find out more. Declan and Ellie had a good story. I would have liked to maybe learn a little more about them, but there was enough there to make the story work. Ellie was frustrating at times, but you ...more

Follow Declan, a man from a frozen tundra that no human is allowed to leave once seen tries to melt the heart of Ellie so that she will follow him. He is CERTAIN that she is the other half of his soul. Ellie's, however does not agree. In the meantime Jealousy is loose and MUST be put back into Pandora’s jar. Will Jealousy win Ellie’s heart or will Declan?

A lovely summer pool side read with ups and downs of emotions. Will you root for good or evil?

I loved this book, Melissa keeps your heart pumping and turning pages to find out what happens next. Her writing keeps your emotions running and the characters easy to identify with. Atlantis is no longer a myth and hopes for a sequel are in the reader's thoughts.

Well, this was a free read for a review.
That's actually the best thing I can say about it. It was free. Sure it had action, romance, drama. It just was not for me. Truthfully if it had not been free i don't know that I would not have finished this.

Mixing anything supernatural with normal human life and not making cheesy can be very difficult. This book accomplishes this easily. I look forward to reading other books in this series.

I am a wife and mother that simply loves the written word. All the places you get to visit by simply separating a few pages. All the people you get to live through and fall in love with. All the adventures you get to have without ever having to leave your house. Not to mention all the worlds you get to visit and travel.
I hope you join me in my books and travel, live and love with me.
