She is my sister. I mean, we do hang out together. So what's the big deal if I want to spend time with my friends for once?I thought sisters were supposed to come first. But I guess some people don't agree. Fine. Hey, I've got friends too.
Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.
I loved this book for some reason. I guess cause its a Jr. High book and I can relate. The only thing I can't relate to is the fact that the girls are twins. :) I wish though!
The problem with trying to re-invent Elizabeth as a character in this series is, that she goes right back to being a goody-goody doormat who adores Jessica but gets treated awfully by her in high school.
So, books like this just make no sense in the Sweet Valley universe, but we all know there is no real continuity in this universe anyway so who cares.
