Desde que el tío Paco se hizo cargo de él, Sebastián ha vivido aventuras increíbles: tuvo un encuentro inesperado con un enorme f

I want to express this disire of mine; I want this book to be in every lenguage you can find on earth because I believe every single person in the world should experience this wonderful creation. It's not just about a boy who grew up. It's about a boy who lived an extraordinary life surrounded by extraordinary people and situations that get you to learn with every step we take with this boy. And yes, I SAID WE, because (I'm talking from my personal expereince) this book takes you by the hand and ...more

This book is about a boy named Sebástian whose parents died in a car accident and is sent to live with his Tío Paco (uncle Paco). It’s their story as Tío Paco creates these crazy adventures, how he teaches him great life lessons, and gets him interested in literature. In it, we follow Sebástian from when he’s a kid until he reaches adulthood.

Their relationship made me so happy. It was so beautiful... —> check out the rest of the review here —>

It was soo nice, I cried so much. Definitely a book I'll keep forever and make everyone read, it was so cute and I totally loved it! It goes about this kid who lost his parents and he has to stay with his uncle who is very peculiar for what he had seen so far. The thing is, once they live together they get into such adventure... it's from the best books in spanish I've ever ever read. Everyone should read it. By the way, i think the ending was perfect, it shouldn't have gone any other way in my ...more

I can't even start with how much I loved this book. I laughed as much as I cried.
A book about loving books and how they change us and how they make us.
It moved me so much in so many ways, maybe because the writer is Mexican and I could feel a real deep connection with his words and the situations he describes.
We all deserve a Tío Paco, and we all should become a Sebastian. The camaraderie between these two is extremely beautiful.

This book is wholesome as fuuck. If you just want to enjoy and feel something this book is a great option. At first I wasn´t so into it, bc it had a slow start, but then I started to appreciate that. Sebastián is an easy relatable character, he goes through every phase a normal kid goes and seeing his relationship with Paco is so good for the heart

“El libro es jardín que se puede llevar en el bolsillo, nave espacial que viaja en la mochila, arma para enfrentar las mejores batallas y afrentar a los peores enemigos, semilla de libertad, pañuelo para las lágrimas.
