Bring your own Cheerios! With this exciting companion to the best-selling The Cheerios® Play Book, children can delight once more in adding Cheerios to just the right places. Leopards get their spots, monkeys juggle, owls see -- and children will laugh out loud as a much-loved cereal again becomes part of Lee Wade's bold, bright art! As with the original Cheerios® Play Book, pages are recessed to help children successfully place the cereal pieces in the scenes. MORE tasty, interactive fun that toddlers will love!
Toddlers might enjoy playing with their Cheerios while reading this book. I read it with a 2 year old, who pretended to eat all the Cheerios (and the bee?).
Jane has taken a renewed interest in this cheerio board book. I recommend this one for Henry! It has big pictures of animals (including owls - one of her current obsessions) and has little holes for your toddler to place cheerios to match the rest of the picture. As Jane is having difficulty sharing & letting go of 'certain' food items - this is a challenge, but she is beginning to take this step .
You will need some Cheerios for this book. It's an interactive book where you place the pieces of cereal and you can then count how many there are or identify what the cereal's purpose is for that page (to decorate a butterfly wing etc.). Using Cheerios is a fun twist and I suppose you can use any small round piece of cereal if you don't like Cheerios (Shhhh don't tell General Mills if you do).
