** If you have not read the first book in The Lost Magic Series, Amber Frost, the review below may contain spoilers. **

What if you had the power to make your deepest desires or tiniest whim come true? Would anything truly be real? Would relationships be genuine? Or would you constantly be wondering that if they had a conscious choice, would people help you, befriend you… love you? Desires can be dangerous things – fleeting, ever-changing and oftentimes not in a person’s best interest. Desires ca

Honestly, I wish these books were what billions of teens (and adults) were reading instead of the Twilight series. It's much more worthy, given that it has a heroine who actually DOES stuff (rather than waiting to have stuff happen to her), and a hero who's sweet and charming, in a relationship that actually seems healthy. (And at the moments when it doesn't, the characters actually recognize the problem and try to fix it.)

In any case, I found this a highly satisfying sequel to Amber Frost! Sequ

This was an exciting adventure! This sequel was as good or better than Amber Frost. The character development and plot were exquisitely created. The grasp of reality mixed with magick was measured by a masters hand.

The ending was unexpected yet satisfying. I don't feel the need for another sequel, yet there were bits left behind, just in case. I deeply appreciated the true love that Gracelynn chose to use wishing for her fiancé's ultimate happiness over her own.

I highly recommend Amber Frost an

Beautifully written. I wouldn't want it to end any other way.

Fantastic sequel! Wonderful continuation of their story. Gracelynn totally came into her own in this novel. Loved reading about her transformation and having a strong female character who totally takes care of business!
Colour me impressed Suzi Davis - I so did not see THAT coming. Review to come.

Great far. A totally different type of YA Paranormal reads. I even made sure the 3rd book was downloaded prior to me finishing the 2nd.

If readers didn't get enough of Grace Lynn and Sebastian in Amber Frost, worry not, because Silver Dew is here, and the story of these two continues. On the run from those that want to hurt them, this story is powerful and intense.

There was a time Grace Stevenson was a normal teenager. She went to school, had her friends, dated. Who would have though in just a span of a few months that she'd be deeply in love with a mysterious boy an

Ms. Davis starts off Silver Dew with a bang. I'd forgotten a few details from Amber Frost, but I was quickly caught up in Grace's story and everything came back. Their fear of the Others is palpable, and it shows that Ms. Davis' writing has only improved. The pacing is awesome and the descriptions are beautiful, it makes me want to see what they're seeing, and I can almost feel what they are experiencing, pleasant or no. But there are some steamy scenes, so that makes up for the fear and turmoil ...more

Book Two of The Lost Magic series is full of adventure and information. Grace and Sebastian go on the run to escape The Others and find information on their shared past. Their trip takes them across the world where they encounter more of The Others - with good and bad intentions.

We learn a lot about Grace and Sebastion's past, but some of it is contradictory and confusing at first. I just have to say to stick with it. There is so much revealed in this story. There were times I was convinced Suzi

This is book is the continuation of Sebastian and Gracelynn's story.

best part of the book: WOW! Talk about twist and turns! I thought the first book was great, but I have to say this one is 100% better! The book picks up where book 1: Amber Frost left off at. Gracelynn and Sebastian are on their own, the Others are hunting them down and Gracelynn can't seem to control her magic within her. I really love how Suzi Davis writes because she really makes you feel for Gracelynn and all that is happeni

Grace is on the run- literally. As she tracks through the wilderness, she really has only one chance of survival, Sebastian. While running away from the others, Grace has to learn to control her powers, and find a way to save Sebastian- and she certainly does not have enough time. The responsibilities Grace suddenly has are eating her away, to reveal who she truly is. Not even she knew the power she can withstand.

My Thoughts: The book started out great, and while I felt like I didn’t know what w

Overall, my feelings towards Silver Dew were similar to Amber Frost: it had some good things going for it but some negatives too. In this second book, there was still some issue with unbelievable dialogue and I felt the pacing was also a little off, with some sections whizzing by and others dragging, but the storyline remained interesting and I liked the introduction of the new characters.

Getting to the end, I was interested to see that it finished in a fairly final way. Sure there are still som

I feel back and forth with this book. I really wanted to enjoy it so it's hard to write this review. There were a lot of parts there were really great and held my interest, for example when we are introduce to Mags. But it took so long to build to that part of the book .I felt like they were running for ever especially in the woods part making the story drag for me. There were many sections like that in the book instances that were good and instances that just dragged for me. I guess that is why ...more

Great series! The writer kept me interested until the end, although I'm curious to read what the third book is about. I thought book 2 had a perfect ending for the series.

What should I say about myself?

Amber Frost was my first novel and I have now added two more books (Silver Dew & Sapphire Sun) to The Lost Magic series. It is a Young-Adult paranormal romance series set in Victoria, BC. I have been reading a lot of YA books lately but I also read books in pretty much every genre and welcome recommendations!

When I'm not reading or writing, you'll find me spendin
