The Pink Bicycle is a charming story about the challenges of growing up and how with a little help and motivation from your friends and parents, you can learn how to do things, even when you are a little bit scared.

Sunita, the main character one day discovers that she has outgrown her bike. she can no longer ride it as her knees keep hitting the handlebars! Her Mum and Dad buy her a new bike, but she is too scared to ride it as it has no stabilisers and is far too big!! In the end, Sunita is forced to jump up on her bike to rescue one of her favourite toys!

This book had some lovely illustrations and the story-line is exciting and will keep younger children entertained. A perfect bed-time story, might require help from parents/teachers with some of the words, but overall a varied and vivid story.
