This book has been a mainstay for my ministry. My copy has been highlighted; dog-eared, and has dozens of post-a-mote tabs. I have read and re-read it.

Good ideas mitigated by poor theology; the author's definition of redemption limits his ability to equip the reader with a deeper understanding of discipleship and its implications for ministry. However, the outline is there, and he cites useful sources for further study.
