This is a reference work for me. I keep reading different sections and rereading old ones. Dr. Palmer understands Liver diseases well and her views and methods of treating them are current. I have PBC and while it is a rare disease, it is in this book.

A useful resource to anyone who has, may have, or wants to prevent viral hepatitis. Good information about liver cancer, autoimmune hepatitis and other liver conditions as well. A must read for anyone with any type of liver disease. Not sure what questions to ask your doctor? Start here. This book will help guide you through your illness and give you the knowledge you need to speak intelligently with your health care providers.

This was a very informative book about liver disease with a great deal of future information. The writing style was quite understandable and there was a lot of information provided that is not easily accessible to the general public. I recommend it for anyone facing liver disease
