After the stress of a long Navy project and Kerry's father's death, Dar and Kerry decide to take their first long vacation together. A cruise in the eastern Caribbean seems just the nice, peaceful time they need to unwind and relax. It is not long, though, until they get involved in a family feud, an old murder, and come face to face with pirates as their vacation turns into a race to find the key to a decades old puzzle.

I suspect the reason I didn’t like this book as much as the others in this series, is that for most of the book Dar and Kerry were very rarely in control of the situation. About three quarters of the way through I found myself getting a little irritate with the way the story didn’t seem to be going anywhere. Also why didn’t they open the cigar box when it was clear everybody was searching for something from the wreck they dived? The book hasn’t affect how much I like Dar and Kerry, but I much prefer them when they are in their High Tech world.
Gotta admit, I always kind of forget this one exists. Suffers a bit from “see how we go” plotting, lack of satisfying conclusion and taking our heroines out of the comfort zone (where the author shines).
This is the sixth book I've read about Dar and Kerry. And with each story I love the two more. The stories are interesting, sometimes funny and always exciting. Melissa Good, thanks for the great entertainment
This is a great adventure! I love Dar&Kerry and Missy's writing. The story is very exciting, and in between all the shooting there are Kerry's quiet moments . . . Read it!
