Charlie's back! Lizbet Lange, who'd forgotten all about him, is abruptly reminded of their past escapade with Charlie's bones when Charlie appears in Lizbet's bedroom at an inappropriate moment. Charlie explains to Lizbet that he needs her help in exposing ten-year-old Rachel Wright's killer back in 1973. Abducted on Halloween, the little girl's body was discovered three days later, but the murderer was never found. It's Halloween again...and Charlie believes that another child might be murdered if Lizbet doesn't step in. Reluctantly, and to her peril, Lizbet agrees.

L.L. Thrasher lives outside of Portland, Oregon, with her husband. She has two adult children who live nearby and two cats who live with her.

Her mysteries, which were published in hardcover in the '90s and early 2000s, are available as Kindle ebooks. They are Charlie's Bones and Charlie's Web and the Zachariah Smith mysteries, Cat's- Paw, Inc. and Dogsbody, Inc.

In August of 2013, No Turning Back: Six Short Stories by L. L. Thrasher was released as a Kindle ebook. Two of the stories appeared in print previously. One of them ("Sacrifice") was nominated for the Edgar Award in 1999.

Wondeful book and follow up to Charlie’s Bones

The book just seamlessly introduces the story and never makes me wish for it to wrap up.
I hope to read more by this author someday.

Humorous

Another sassy woman and ghost mystery. Very complex with lots of people and interesting problems. I could see it happening.
