You don't have to read the first two books of the Discovery Series before reading this one.
I bought this and three other books from an antique store for 25 cents each. The others were so horrid that I only read a couple pages from each. They weren't even worth the energy to write scathing reviews. This one was worth the dig through that musty antique shelf.
Kingdom of Gold was a fun read with a happy ending. The characters were endearing and the twists were interesting, if not surprising. Portion ...more
