This one was interesting. I've never before seen a recipe for cream of chayote soup, and I can't wait to try it. The albondigas reminded me of a Japanese recipe which sounds similar (though it has different seasonings), which I found intriguing.

One of my very favorite books.

I love this entire series (Casual Cuisines of the World) and I also love just about every book by Millikan and Feniger.

A double treat!
