Powerful look at the impact of clashing cultures - this story reminds us that there is often a price to pay when two worldviews clash and there is no attempt find common ground. I often wonder how much knowledge we have lost because of our attitudes about less technologically 'advanced' cultures; just the medicinal knowledge that has been lost is staggering. Really beautiful art.

Beautiful illustrations, engaging and truthful plot full of wisdom about the harmful effects of human greed, and even perhaps an unchecked capitalistic system.

I think it is a good book because You can read it in two different languages, and when you don't understand something you can see in the other language what it was.
