This volume gives an insight into the making of the film Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow. It contains interviews with the director, Bille August, and the Julia Ormond, Gabriel Byrne, Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Harris and Jim Broadbent, and also with the author himself, Peter Hoeg There are approximately 150 stills from the shooting of the film, as well as drawings by the set decorator, storyboard sketches, call sheets and Peter Hoeg's hand-written drafts of the novel, showing how the complex character of Miss Smilla came into being on the page and on the screen.

Very good. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. Very type of book for me. My old boss gave it to me and I'm so glad she did.
