My daughter is 5 and loves the Barbie Movies. This is one of the first Barbie books we have read together. First off, I realize this isn't fine literature nor is it meant to be. I understand girls love Barbie and Barbie books that is just fine with me...but what is up with the names? I doubt I pronounced Merliah, or Calissa or Eris correctly....put maybe girls who have seen the movie will know how to say it but I tripped over my tongue several times. How can a kid read the book if the names are HARD for adults?...okay rant over!
