This is the most comprehensive book in the English language dealing exclusively with tai chi chuan's exotic "thirteen sword" form. In this book, the author brings the reader through the history, fundamentals, movements, and applications of this rare form, and presents priceless illustrations of famous tai chi masters demonstrating tai chi sword techniques.

Pretty shabby representation of Chinese swordsmanship. There are tons of other books available that are more informative and without hype. I am writing this review based on 28 years of swordsmanship and weapons training in multiple traditions. Chinese swordsmanship, Kali, and Silat have been my focus for the past 20 years, along with cross-referencing European historical swordsmanship treatises in the german long sword, and various others. Sorry, but this book is not worth the pages it is printed on. I discarded my copy. The shelf space was valuable real estate.
