Dora and Boots are headed to a sleepover. Before they arrive at the sleepover they go tell all of the animals good night, buenas noches. They encounter the bugga bugga babies, bees, chickens, ducks, snakes, frogs, and owls good night! After telling all the animals good night they arrive to the sleepover and fall fast asleep.

In terms of literacy this book is great for sequencing. Students could describe what happened first, next, then, and last.

This book follows Dora home as she tells all the animals she passes goodnight. Each animal is under a flap that the child lifts after reading/hearing the sound the animal makes. It is a well-written cute book for bedtime. However, it certainly is not going to relax any child into sleepiness with the high energy of Dora, engaging animal noises, and lift the flap action. I do read this book at bedtime with my child but make sure to follow up with calmer alternatives.

Although this book is about Dora it is a really good book that has some Spanish in it and it also teaches about animals and what sounds they make. It is also nighttime so Dora and Boots take a journey, as Dora does, and tell each animal goodnight. It is a lift the flap book that is fun and entertaining. I love lift the flap books because they add an exciting factor to each book. I always wonder what is behind here? Altogether it is a really good book.

Read with my 4yo daughter. Very cute book. She loved flipping up the flaps to discover the baby animals and a great way to learn how to say "good night" in spanish since it is repeated so many times in the book.

Recommends it for: parents reading with their children
This is a sweet tale, perfect for reading to young children at bedtime. Dora and Boots are headed to her home for a sleepover and they say "Buenos noches" to all the critters they see along the way. Our girls enjoyed this story.

I bought this book second hand on Amazon as it was not in print. I read tonight and my son loved it. It's interactive and helps me with the goal of learning Irish and Spanish at the same time. Nice little book would love to see more Irish/Spanish books like this.

This story is great right before bedtime. You get to read through the forest, saying goodnight to all the animals you see. Buenos noches!
