I read The Nevada NIghtmare Novel by Johnathan Rand. This book is really good. It is very mysterious and you never know what could happen next! It's about a boy who has to write a spooky story for school. He buys this book from a garage sale and decides to write his spooky story in that. The next night after be started his story, his story came to life! All of the haunting characters were alive and trying to hurt his family. I really liked this book because it had a lot of fiction. It had fictional characters, a floating ship and these people trapped in a town. The author had a lot of great details and words to describe what was going on in this book. It was kind of an adventure book because they had to go through the town escaping the characters looking for their parents. Also, I really liked the main character Devon.
