This book is great for biography. It also uses bildungsroman on how Barack Obama was a little child to an American president. Although it is only filled with facts, it is still fun. It is so interesting.

This is a nice resource for any middle/high school libraries for students wanting to learn more about our current president Barack Obama. The layout is done very well with: beautiful pictures, clear easy to follow text, a glossary, timeline, and links to websites or videos of many of the events covered. The one unfortunate thing is due to the book’s publication date, the material only covers up to most of his first term in office; for more recent events students will have to find other resources ...more
