A story about harmless whoppers, if I remember correctly. I guess that is the problem, me not remembering this story very well. My boys enjoyed it and I originaly rated 5 stars but I am now deducting since I can not remember the details. I do remember having to explain a few of the whoppers but my boys are young so this was not a problem, as I understand why they did not instantly understand all of it.

A beautiful bilingual story of a grandfather and his granddaughter. The grandfather tells a tall tale of when he was a cowboy and was caught in a rainstorm/gullywasher. That was the day that wrinkled his skin, turned his hair gray, gave him his round belly, and bent his back; all turning him into the old man he is today!! My daughter always loves a silly story. So, this is one of her favorites.

This is a wonderful book to read aloud! A sweet book where a grandfather tells his granddaughter some tall tales.
