This is a fantastic story of the German Tiger tanks in Normandy after the Allied invasion of 1944. It follows each tank. The tigers were incredibly superior to any allied tanks, except the Sherman Firefly. And the overwhelming advantage of Allied air and sea power were also apparent. It took days, sometimes weeks for the tanks to get to Normandy traveling only during the darkest night hours and then hiding under camouflage during the days. An extremely informative book.
