Written from a purely American view; this disjointed book does a man of Helmut Kohl's stature short shrift. Book needed to be at least 400 pages no barely more than 400 and not viewing Kohl through an American lens.

A good read. I came away with a respect for Chancellor Kohl and the role he played in the re-unification of Germany
