About the author

Simon started drawing cartoons at an early age and went to study Graphics and Animation at De Montfort University. He has a great interest in British wildlife, painting, the great outdoors and of course cats. He now works in London as an animator and director at Tandem Films.
Simon lives in Bedfordshire with this three cats: Hugh, Maisie, Jess and Teddy.

Cats are obsessed with food -- eating food, catching food, playing with food, stealing food, even napping on top of food. This collection of Simon's Cat cartoons deal with that food obsession.

I smiled the whole time I was reading this cartoon collection. I have four cats (all rescues) and have fostered numerous litters of rescue kittens. They all have the same hangups and obsessions when it comes to food. I have one slightly pudgy white kitty named Festus who will bypass a full food dish to scratch open the bottom of a cat food bag and eat from the bag. We now have to keep the cat food in plastic containers with lids, and any pet food sacks inside a closet. I have another grown cat who eats bugs...if I see a spider, stink bug or any crawly critter, all I have to do is call Chester's attention to the thing. Gulp.....bug gone! The cat is so bug crazy that he can leap up and catch flies from the air. Weird cat. :)

So, given the weirdness of my own kitty herd, I knew this book would be one I would enjoy. I'm never disappointed by Simon's Cat books!

Simon's cat sizes up pet fish, steals groceries, eats peculiar things and definitely engrosses in Garfield-like binges in this lovely collection of cat-toons. Anyone who is owned by a cat will love this book!

Videos are really much more fun than books. There is not enough detail and it is all too repetitive. Simon's cat wants food from everyone. Now I think these books are just published to make money. If I didn't find a free pdf, I certainly wouldn't have looked. See if you find it, but frankly it's not worth buying.

Videolar gerçekten kitaplardan çok daha eğlenceli. Yeterli detay yok ve hepsi çok tekrarlı. Simon'ın kedisi herkesten yiyecek istiyor. Artık bu kitapların yalnızca para kazanmak amacıyla basıldığını düşünüyorum. Ücretsiz pdf bulmasam kesinlikle bakmazdım. Eğer bulursanız bakın, ama almaya değmez açıkçası.

Ich glaube meine Favoriten sind die Bilder mit dem anlocken der Motte, dem Fuchs, den Fliegen und das mit dem See und dem Storch.
Schade finde ich, dass zweiseitige Geschichten, auf sichtbar nebeneinander liegenden Seiten liegen. Es hätte mehr Charme gehabt, noch einmal umblättern zu müssen, um das Unerwartete zu entdecken und Vermutungen anstellen zu können.

Ich freue mich sehr, dass ein guter Freund mir dieses Buch aus England mitgebraucht hat (Signiert!). :D Ich mag diese Katze sehr gern und schaue zB auch regelmäßig die YouTube-Videos von Simon Tofield. Eine einfach Idee, die viel Freude bringt. Dieses Buch kommt definitiv in mein geheiligtes-niemand-darf-das-anfassen Regelbrett.

Simons Katze ist ein Klassiker. In diesem Band sind lauter Einzelszenen/Einzelbilder zu sehen, die die Verfressenheit und Dreistigkeit der Katze illustrieren, es wird aber keine zusammenhängende Story erzählt. Einiges wiederholt sich, anderes ist wieder ziemlich witzig.

Excellent to give someone as a present. Fun little compilation. Though I think I prefer the other formats since there is more diversity in those books. Also, I prefer the black and white comics.

Da hat sich Simon Tofield echt etwas Geniales einfallen lassen. Er hat mich bislang mit seinen Videos verzaubert und nun bin erfreut darüber, dass es nun auch noch Bücher davon gibt.

Ich habe mir natürlich das feinste vom feinsten gegriffen: „Fütter mich!“

Da diese Geste ein Markenzeichen der Katze und natürlich einer meiner Lieblings Gesten überhaupt ist, handelt das Buch genau darüber. Die Illustrationen in diesem Buch, zeigen wie sich Hugh, Simon’s Katze, auf verschiedene Art und Weise sein Essen ergattert.

Es ist einfach nur süß und jeder Katzenbesitzer erkennt seine eigene Katze auf diesen Illustrationen. Ich tue es zumindest und bin total fasziniert von dem Buch und natürlich und vor allem auch von den Videos.

Ich muss also von Herzen, Simon Tofield’s Arbeit sehr loben.

Ich hoffe es werden noch viele andere Bücher geben.

EINFACH NUR SPITZE!!! EIN MUSS, FÜR JEDEN SIMON’S CAT FAN!!

Das passende Buch für echte Katzenfans! Cartoon-Zeichner Simon Tofield beweist wieder mal mit Witz und Humor, was in seinem Zusammenleben mit seiner Katze alles abgeht. Da ich selber Katzenbesitzerin bin, rufen die einzelnen Szenen von Tofield in mir Erinnerungen hervor, die ebenso haarsträubend sind, so das man dann aber dennoch drüber lachen kann... und eines ist gewiss: Herr Tofield hat es bestimmt nicht leicht mit seiner Katze! Denn diese findet immer wieder neue Mittel und Wege, um an Futter heran zu kommen...

This book reminds me a lot of everyday things with my own cats <3 So, nothing better, really. Made me laugh and/or smile in every page

If Simon's cat met my cat, they would love or hate each other forever because my cat is a little Garfield just like this one... Always trying to get food anywhere possible (assaulting garbage bins at night, trying to open the cabinet where his food is stored, stalking everyone that goes to the kitchen in the hopes of getting something out of it, trying to open the fridge door etc etc etc lol)

I love all things Simon's Cat so I'm a little biased, but Feed Me is another great addition to the collection. Cat lovers--especially those who are familiar with food-motivated cats--will thoroughly enjoy the humor in this book. I literally laughed out loud. It's a quick "read," (it's all comics with no words), so it's totally worth taking a look.

This one was an even quicker read as it is VERY short. I was a little disappointed because I was hoping for some new material. But this is a book filled with colorized versions of comics I have already seen. It was still entertaining, though as Simon's Cat is always funny.

Simons katze fand ich schon immer klasse und hab mich an den Videos totgelacht. Bald hab ich mich mit meinem kater auf der Webseite angemeldet und merchandise fing auch an haha. Jetzt aber musste mal ein buch her. Es ist wirklich lustig und amüsant. Kommt an die Videos aber nicht ganz ran.
