Sequel to All the Wrong Reasons.
Bailey never thought she'd fall in love - especially after the ordeal her best friend, Irelyn, had gone through the previous winter. So, imagine her surprise when she realizes that it has indeed happened to her.

But it's not looking promising even after she ends her on-again-off-again relationship with Spencer - especially since the man she's

Ok enough comparisons….I wont compare this with Effortless the second book on Thoughtless by S. C. Stephens coz both books has a different story. But I would have to say that I liked this one better than the first one. Well, one there’s Bailey (Irelyn’s wild friend). I love her character! Well, that is saying much since it is seldom that I like and not annoyed by the female character. Second, I loved how the story revolved on the characters…actually this aint a simple love triangle type of thing ...more

Vicious Circles is the sequel to All the Wrong Reasons by JL Paul. There were things about Vicious Circles that I liked better than All the Wrong Reasons, but there were also things about Vicious Circles that bothered me!

It really irked me how Bailey talked about her daddy and his money. It made her sound like a spoiled, immature brat. Example, “Not much-shopped, spent daddy’s money, hung out on the beach, went to

Not great, but am glad I read Collin's story. Not going to spend too much time on the review. Nothing unusual stood out. I did appreciate two things: 1) Collin is a really nice guy. He appears talented [a drummer in their ensemble], he is sensitive [caring of his friends, his family. He is mature and responsible. Just an overall great guy, without being a moog. I think any girl would want to catch his attention and would home he would be the ONE. The second thing 2) Communication is key.

Some say V.C. is better than A.T.W.R..I am not sure if that's true or false. The books are the same time similar and different so I don't think they should be compared.I liked it and I hope you will too.In Bailey's situation there is not a triangle but a pentagon.Bailey,Collin,Spencer,Tori and Morgan's feelings create a mess.Because Bailey realises she is in love with Collin who seems to have feelings for Tori who doesn't seem to have feelings for him,Spencer who had a casual relationship with Ba ...more

I loved Vicious Circle, its somewhat more complex yet, easier to understand than the 1st book.
Vicious Circle was about love, misunderstanding,Friendship and confusion.

i love how Bailey, came to understand her true feeling and how she is very confident in what she do and how she loves her friends so much. i love that she came to realize what her true feelings and how she became honest with herself. i still believe that's shes the coolest friend.

I love Collin, how his sweet, understanding and hone

Since I read all the wrong reasons I don't like to start series and not finish it especially if it ties up any loose ends. I liked this story a lot more. Irelyn was a coward and dragged her feet whereas Bailey is more take charge and does things the way she wants. I loved Colin in the first one, so to read this one that is about him I was happy. Colin is such a all around great guy, caring, adorable, smart, and he has the added being a super sexy drummer going on for him LOL. Not much out of the ...more
Sigh.. What can I say! I read book 1 and 2 in one day I loved them so much. Definitely worth the price =) and Collin and Lucas are totally yummy...and even spencer..sometimes lol
Sometimes you have to let things go too far.

Meet Collin Newton:

He's Lucas's twin brother, the drummer from Out Back, and has always been the 'good twin.'

Meet Bailey Foxworth:

She's Irelyn's best friend. She's stubborn, independent, has a reputation, and her morals are questionable. ;)

There are some people who were made to fall in love. There are some people who are naturally loveable. And then their are people like Bailey who know they aren't going to fall in love and who know not everyone

Ok, so this book is full of drama! Maybe a little too much. Drama with friends, drama with lovers, drama within one's soul... with all that drama, I can still say I enjoyed this book. My new boyfriend is Collin. He is beautiful! If you read the first book (All The Wrong Reasons) and loved Irelyn and Lucas, you will love

I just noticed today that I did not review this book so five days later this is my opinion. I have to say I liked this book a little better than the first one. I love Bailey because she is complicated yet so beautiful. I gotta say all the women in this series are messed up seriously and the men (with the exception of Owen) are wonderful, caring and loving men who were raised to love and nurture relationship and that just seems a bit messed up. Okay so back to the main point of the book Bailey an ...more

I have a knack for bad girls. Bailey is one of my favorite characters from the first book. She's quite b*tchy - but admit it, she was really a nice friend being there for Irelyn and covering for her (I'm not sure if the last one is a good thing). I really thought she would go serious with Spencer only to be surprised that she ended up with Collin, a good guy.

Bailey's reputation precedes her. The people around her think she's easy and sleeping around - thanks to rumors spread by an old arch enem

What an amazing book just as good as the first one and it was such a complicated love circle and the inner struggle that Bailey was facing just to do the right thing was really intense. These characters have so much drama and were jumping down eachothers throats so much and some of the reasons for the arguments were just plain dumb. I hated how Irelyn judged Bailey for her sleeping with Collin when Bailey loved him because Irelyn felt she should put her love aside so Morgan can have a chance wit ...more

Bailey is the "bad girl" of the group who finds she is in love for the first time. However, it's not with the guy she's been seeing, Spencer. She's in love with Collin, Spencer's cousin and best friend. Then, to top it off, after a fun filled night with Collin, Bailey finds she's in the middle of a big circle of love. Hmmm....what's a girl to do? Will Bailey be able to commit to love with Collin?

My Take:
In MY opinion, I found that Bailey's story wasn't as complex and dramatic as Irelyn's

When I first started this book and I saw it was about Bailey my first thought was "I hope she wants Collin!" I was SO excited to read about Bailey. She comes across as this bad ass b**ch who doesn't care about anything and you got to see that that's not exactly true. Yes she has a hard side but she has a soft side as well and it was really wonderful to see. I LOVE COLLIN! Have I said how much I LOVE COLLIN??? I'm sooo glad there was more of him in this book!

This had a weaker storyline than the first book of the Wrong Reasons series.

The ending was also predictable, pretty much in all aspects, so there was no big bang to make up for the storyline.

The characters themselves weren't that great either. Collin and Bailey seemed quite shallow, with not many depths about them. Sure, there were discoveries made about their past lives, but I just didn't really feel connected to them.

The plot dragged on and on, and the confusion and misconceptions at the st

Wow, I wasn't sure how the sequel to 'All the wrong reasons' would pan out thinking it would be a continuation of the two main characters however it followed the story of one of the other characters and I absolutely LOVED this book and possibly more so than the first. The story followed 'Bailey' that we meet in the first book and get a deeper understanding of who she is, how she became who she appeared to be and saw her softer more fragile side.

I loved the way this book felt very real and how c

Vicious Circles is the second bk in the Wrong Reasons series by J.L. Paul.
Vicious Cirles focused on Bailey the vivacious curvy brunette and best friend of Ireyln. The book opens with Bailey sitting poolside with her other bestie Morgan when she realizes that she is head over heels in love. The only problem is she is not in love with the guy she is currently dating Spencer but instead his cousin Collin. So Bailey comes up with a plan to break things off with Spencer besides th

“Way MORE BETTER than the first!”

I always ended up giggling and awed while reading this book. I’d prefer Bailey’s story than Irelyn’s.
It might be BITCHY and kinda WHORE-ish, because Bailey doesn’t give a damn about having a serious relationship. Then she got tied up in with these Vicious Circles with her friends.

A twisted love that makes you feel confused sometimes, but you’ll figure it out in the end because you could predict on what’s gonna happened next.

I really like Collin! He’s such a nice

After reading ALL THE WRONG REASONS, I need to read this one!

I really want to get into the head of the wild and sassy Bailey.

Damn! These boys in this series are so hot!
They're in a band, they're hot, they're sexy,
they're sweet, they're freaking amazing.

I loved all the drama. I don't like my drama to
be in my life but rather in my books and this
books is so satisfying in the drama department.

I really really enjoyed this book, it's so fun and easy to read. I totally loved Bailey's character, she kind of remind me of Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill.

The story is really good and I enjoyed all the characters with the exception of Morgan, I think she was a judgmental bitch and I didn't liked the way she behaved and I also had a few issues with Irelyn at some point but she ended up taking the right decision.

Loved Collin! He's such a sweet guy and I really liked to read his story, I also

This is the squeal to All the Wrong Reasons, but from the perspective of Bailey, who may I add is an absolute riot. This story is what can happen from assuming or the viscous "he said, she said". All in all the book was good, but I didn't fall in love with the main characters as much as the first book All the Wrong Reasons from Irelyn's point of view. I read that J.L. Paul is writing the third book due out before Christmas from Morgans POV and I didn't like her character at all, she actually bug ...more

If I could give it a 3.5 I would. I liked it but wasn't in love with this book. I think the whole love circle thing going on really could get confusing at times, especially the parts about Tori and Morgan. I think if they were either expanded a little more they would have made a little more sense. I do feel bad for Bailey though, she acts like her reputation doesn't bother her when you can tell deep down it does, her tough girl act is just that, an act. I would like to see a book about Morgan th ...more

I'm pretty sure I liked this story more than the first! however it did bother me that most if the drama could have been avoided if they all would talk to each other instead of skulking around and pouting. But I loved Bailey's character and how bold she was when there was something she wanted. She did come off as a spoiled little brat at times but I ultimately really liked her. And Collin was pretty amazing also. So sweet and charming... but aalso a moron in the beginning lol Maybe we will get Mo ...more

I liked this book as much if not a little more than #1. Bailey's wit makes the narration much more interesting but I wish the focal point would've been more on the romance and less on their crazy friend who clearly had issues. They spent half the book pining away for her and really I wanted more details into the Collin/Bailey relationship. It seemed like it was then quickly summarized at the end and filled in the gaps. Did like the story line and it's definately a page turner!

I enjoyed this book just like the last. I have to admit it leaves me wanting more, more about Morgan and more about how the boys/girls will all end up. Do Lucas and Irelyn say together? (i hope so), does Dustin come back and try to make them miserable for what Irelyn did to him?, do Collin and Bailey stay together?, do Morgan and Spencer finally get together? Does Owen try to get revenge? So many things i would want to read in another book.

I loved this one more than the first and I loved the former. Bailey is tough and spunky, but with sweet, laid-back Collin she is unsure and out of her comfort zone in love. I loved the tangled web. Like I said in my review of book one, I am not a love triangle fan, but JL Paul lays it out so jealously and hurt feelings are not the forefront of the story. The personalities and relationships of the characters are the complete focus.

I want more in the end...Tell me about their future not about two weeks later. But over all I liked it. Still in love with Collin but wish Morgan would have had a stronger female lead. Not just play as the backward need a story line for her person. It was a good book and I am I read it. I liked the 1st one and was happy with the ending! So that makes it worth it. There were times were I did not get it like double sided and such but it was a good book.

Vicious Circles was the sequel to All The Wrong Reasons. Although I enjoyed reading the latter, I enjoyed Vicious Circles more which focused on Bailey, a secondary character from book 1. I loved her in book 1 and couldn't wait to read her story in book 2. She is intriguing and exciting with a bit of bad ass! I am happy that she ended up with Collin who will no doubt balance out the spitfire in her. Absolutely great read and would definitely recommend!

Vicious Circle was a good read, I enjoyed it more than All The Wrong Reasons. I liked Bailey's character, but with it being first-person I didn't get emotionally involved with Bailey as I felt I should have. Also, some of the situations felt almost comical instead of realistic. But, overall the story was pretty good and I know I wouldn't want to end up in that kind of vicious circle. After reading about Irelyn and now Bailey I am anxious to what's going to happen to Morgan.

I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it as much as All The Wrong Reasons, and I didn't think I had much interest in Bailey.

I was WRONG!!!! Really enjoyed it, and suddenly forgot all about Lucas & Sadie and was loving Bailey & Collin. It was great that everyone was still in the story and you were learning more about them.

A highly enjoyable, easy read!
